Where Women Connect Launches Free Women's Social Networking Site

New women’s social networking site, WhereWomenConnect.com, answers the question: How do ‘grown up women’ find new friends?

Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Media Editor, News Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO, MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - Sept. 29, 2009) - New women's friendship site, WhereWomenConnect.com, launches in Toronto and surrounding areas this Friday October 2, 2009.

This free site connects like-minded women looking to expand their social network, while enjoying activities that make life offline more interesting. Whether a woman is looking to create a golf foursome, join a book club, catch a chick flick, put together a women's volleyball team or just find a few new friends to hang out with - members can connect by simply posting and responding to a local activity board. In addition to user directed activities, the site will also host group events. In fact, the site's first event invites members to join team 'WhereWomenConnect.com' for the CIBC Run for the Cure taking place in Toronto this Sunday, October 4th, 2009.

To celebrate the launch of the site, the first one hundred women to sign up will be entered into the site's 'First 100 Women Contest' for a chance to win a $100 spa gift certificate, compliments of WaySpa.com.

"WhereWomenConnect.com recognizes the value of connecting with girlfriends that share common interests and experiences," says site founder Jeanette Harrietha. "My goal for the site is to create a platform for women of all stages - new moms, singles, recently relocated, retired, etc. - to make such connections. Aside from being a woman, the only requirement for joining and using the free service is a positive spirit and a willingness to get out there and make life happen!"
