Wi-Fi and TV Are Combined in New Global Wi-Fi TV™ Web Site

Traditional TV Meets Interactivity and User Involvement of Internet on a Large Scale

GENEVA--(Marketwire - November 6, 2007) - The inventors of Social Internet TV™, Wi-Fi TV Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTVN), take the combination of Wi-Fi and TV to a new level this Thursday with the launch of an all-new web site. While Wi-Fi TV Inc. and others have experimented with delivering TV over the Internet, the new Wi-Fi TV™ web site is the first that takes Internet features like live chat and mixes them with traditional TV features like 24/7 stations with both live and prerecorded programming on a web site that requires no special software and has no upfront or monthly costs (Wi-Fi TV Inc. does offer premium programming, video ads, phone call fees and sells stations to small and large business).

Wi-Fi, which stands for wireless fidelity, in a play on the older term Hi-Fi (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-hi-fi.htm), is a wireless networking (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-wireless-networking.htm) technology (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-wifi.htm) used across the globe. Wi-Fi refers to any system that uses the 802.11 standard, which was developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-ieee.htm) and released in 1997. After the formation of Wi-Fi TV Inc., Wi-Fi was added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

A hotspot is a venue (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venue) that offers Wi-Fi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi) access. The public can use a laptop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laptop), WiFi phone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WiFi_phone), or other suitable portable device to access the Internet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet). Of the estimated 150 million laptops, 14 million PDAs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_digital_assistant), and other emerging Wi-Fi devices sold per year for the last few years, most include the Wi-Fi feature.

Wi-Fi TV™ can be accessed on an increasing number of Wi-Fi enabled devices, including all laptop computers, all desktop computers, and select cellular phones and PDAs.

"The potential market for Wi-Fi TV is in the multi-millions and across the globe. Wi-Fi TV's new web site is closely tied to the Wi-Fi TV sales team which will work to capitalize on the revenue opportunities of the new web site, and the possibilities of dramatically growing our viewing audience," Wi-Fi TV states in a new information statement released today.
