WiFi Confirms Broader Logistics Applications for Container Tracking System

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 20, 2006 -- (OTCBB: WFWL) (PINKSHEETS: WFWL) WiFi Wireless, Inc. announced today that its market ready marine cargo security solution is also adaptable to all other logistics and intermodal transport including port and storage, rail, and ground.

The end-to-end wireless tracking and monitoring system for containers was designed for improving the safety and security of US (and International) ports where millions of containers pass through every year largely un-monitored. Due to limited technologies available previously and physical resources to properly insure cargo integrity, the company focused on the marine application as its primary concern as a major national security issue.

The WiFi system is a realistic solution today that is cost effective, readily deployable and a reliable security measure.

Currently port authorities rely on information presented by the carrier and bill of lading with no real ability to know the true nature or condition of a container's contents.

Additionally, physical inspection (including X-Rays) is randomly exercised through various, information based, inspection criteria metrics which are extremely sophisticated and automated but not sufficient to provide the desired level of security in today's world. It is impractical and cost prohibitive due to the human resources required to make it anything more than variably random as described above.

Due to the basic principles employed in the WiFi tracking and control system architecture, the WFSCT System and the ART TAG (Active Response Technology) technologies are easily adaptable for the ports themselves, railroads, rail-yards and for the ground transport of the very same containers intermodally.

Additionally, the ID associated with every ART TAG on board every container can be followed throughout its journey through the deployment of secure wireless network environments further ensured by secondary secure satellite communications networks accompanied by secure dedicated lines to central monitoring facilities.

The central monitoring system is the logical way to maintain assuredness for the security of all containers wherever, whenever in real time.
