WiFi Wireless, Inc. Meets With Los Angeles Port Authority
ALISO VIEJO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 2, 2006 -- WiFi Wireless, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WFWL)
(OTCBB: WFWL)
WiFi Wireless, Inc. recently met with the Los Angles Port Authorities to
introduce our "WFSCT System," which offers a solution for the Los Angeles
Port Security. In our meetings with the port authority we discussed how
our "WFSCT System" complies with the GreeLane and SAFE Port Acts currently
in the legislation process.
In 2005 the Los Angeles Ports alone had a total of 3,956,035 inbound cargo
containers.
With the amount of containers coming into the Los Angeles Ports alone
security is obviously a huge concern for the Port Authorities. The Los
Angeles Port is the First busiest container port in the United States, and
the Eighth busiest container port in the world.
WiFi Wireless, Inc. has offered to install the "WFSCT System" aboard a test
ship in one of the Los Angeles Harbors. WiFi Wireless, Inc. has also
offered to have our demo ship relocated from its current location to one of
the Los Angeles harbors for ship owners to be able to view its capabilities
and its advanced technology.
The board unanimously concluded that we would accommodate any request from
the Port Authorities. The Port Authorities concurred that when tests are
successful it would reduce the harbor commission's overhead substantially.
We are grateful for the opportunity due to the potential revenues that will
be generated by the thousands of incoming traffic daily. WiFi Wireless,
Inc. appreciates the Los Angeles Port's cooperation immensely.
