About Take Shape and Share

The idea of Take Shape and Share originates from the UK based charity organizations of FENC, the Further Education National Consortium. Over the past 16 years secondary more than 250 Schools and Colleges for Further education have built a repository filled with over 30,000 learning hours of content. The FENC members share this content freely with eachother. In working together to build the FENC repository the British educators have set an example to other European Schools and Colleges.

With support of the Dutch government organization Kennisnet two Dutch Colleges for Further Education, ROC Zeeland and ROC Westerschelde, and FENC have been preparing the repository for introduction to Schools and Colleges in other European countries. With funding from the European Commission the Take Shape and Share community will be extended to several countries in Europe.
