Windermere.com Homepage Undergoes Renovation

Windermere Real Estate Unveils Simplified, User-Centered Design

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - November 18, 2008) - Windermere Real Estate announced today the unveiling of their new homepage and search interface on the company's website, Windermere.com. The new website simplifies how consumers start their home search by featuring a clear and familiar method to Internet searches: a single search box. The new homepage can be seen at www.windermere.com.

Windermere's user-centered redesign is in response to consumer research which found that homebuyers want simple, easy-to-use navigation that allows them to find listings quickly and easily. Search results will be displayed on an interactive map using Microsoft Virtual Earth technology with a redesigned photo viewer that shows an unlimited number of larger home photos in an intuitive interface.

"Today's home buyers depend heavily on websites to search for homes in their target areas. They asked us to simplify the home search process for quick access to the listing interface and large photos that allow them to come closer to seeing the home," said Windermere chief operating officer John Jones. "Our goal is to provide consumers the best online real estate experience, from our homepage search, to our mapped results and improved photo gallery."

Windermere.com receives over 2 million unique visits per month, and is regarded as one of the leading real estate sites in terms of customer usability.
