Wire One Simplifies Video Conferencing With EndPoint Connect

EPC allows for scheduling and on-demand launch of non-bridged video conferences through hands-free automation of the connection. Customers can walk into an EPC-enabled video conference room at the scheduled start of a conference and immediately start communicating, without the need to memorize IP addresses or navigate through on-screen menus via remote control.

Through use of Wire One's scheduling tool, engageMeeting Manager, users can seamlessly arrange scheduling, on-demand, and automated launch for EPC and bridged video conference meetings. With the use of this easy to use, non-technical interface, customers are also able to manage usage requirements and avoid resource conflicts.

With EPC, Wire One has enhanced Automated Self-Service scheduling and auto-launch features for point-to-point calls, allowing users to experience benefits similar to those associated with bridged conferences. When using EPC, customers also have the advantage of gaining insight into point-to-point conferencing, as usage data is stored and reported along with multipoint video conferencing data.
