FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwire - January 10, 2008) - The Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) announces that on Thursday, January 24 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM, it will host a luncheon program featuring Mr. Pierre Barbeau, CEO, Moblico, at the Fort Worth Club.

There are more mobile phones than televisions in the world today and it's expected there will be more than 4 billion subscribers worldwide by 2011. That is just 36 months away and yet how many businesses have begun to consider, let alone develop, a mobile strategy? It's a shift of epic proportions in terms of media and its impact on the traditional marketing mix will be profound.

Mr. Barbeau, an international expert on mobile marketing and emerging technologies, will start with the basics and outline how marketing and advertising plans will be impacted in the future. Pierre Barbeau is an entrepreneur, an inventor and a partner at Moblico, a consultative agency in mobile marketing, visual communications, product design and usability.
