Workscape Selected by Global Imaging Systems to Drive Cost-Effective Enrollment Behavior

Office Automation and Technology Leader Cites Powerful, Intuitive Outsourced Benefits Administration System as Reason for Selection

MARLBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2010) -  Workscape, Inc., a leading provider of integrated HR solutions and services, today announced that Global Imaging Systems (Global), a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox, has selected the Workscape Outsourced Benefits Administration (OBA) solution for its proven ability to reduce health benefits costs without sacrificing employee satisfaction.

Workscape OBA, which consists of Web-based self-service applications, integrated modeling tools, and 24x7 on-shore phone support, will help Global reduce benefits costs by empowering employees to make cost-effective enrollment choices and generating greater tax savings through increased flexible spending account (FSA) participation. Workscape's solution will be configured to reflect Global's unique corporate brand, providing employees a seamless online enrollment experience. With dynamic decision support tools, such as a medical cost calculator and savings account estimator, Workscape OBA will help Global's employees determine the most suitable plan selections, taking into consideration personal preferences, medical usage, premiums and out-of-pocket expenses.

"After evaluating a number of options, we chose Workscape OBA for its powerful and intuitive solution. Our goal for the new online benefits administration system was not only to drive enrollment activity to the Web, but also to provide a dynamic and highly interactive experience to increase employee adoption and engagement. The Workscape solution provides all of that and more," stated Geoff Harrington, director of Benefits at Global Imaging Systems.

Workscape OBA also includes built-in reporting and analytics to enable Global's HR managers to understand enrollment patterns and gauge how employee enrollment behavior impacts overall healthcare costs. Administrators also can drill down into preferences to understand the factors -- such as lower deductibles or the flexibility to choose their own doctor -- that drive employees' specific plan selections.

Steve Migliaccio, Workscape's vice president of Product Management, commented, "We are thrilled to be working with Global Imaging Systems. We look forward to helping the company design benefit plans that attract and retain top talent and develop strategies aimed at encouraging more cost-effective enrollment behaviors."
