World Financial Group Named Title Sponsor for Nanaimo Clippers Junior Hockey Club

WFG Adds British Columbia Hockey Club With Talent for Turning Out NHL Superstars to Stable of Corporate Sports Sponsorships

VAUGHAN, ON--(Marketwire - November 18, 2008) - The Nanaimo Junior A Clippers Hockey hit the ice this season with a new team and a new title sponsor. World Financial Group (WFG) announced recently its sponsorship of the Nanaimo Clippers for the 2008-2009 season.

Now known as the World Financial Group Nanaimo Clippers, the team is renowned for turning out NHL and college superstars and has claimed first place in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) regular season for the past four consecutive seasons.

The Clippers are the latest team to join World Financial Group's stable of sponsored sports teams in Canada and the United States.
