World-Renowned Lineup of Speakers to Keynote ACG Los Angeles Annual Business Conference

Mitt Romney, Michael Milken, Sen. Tom Daschle, Sen. Bill Frist, Richard Ziman and Andrew Ross Sorkin Among Speakers

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - April 15, 2010) -   A roster of luminaries from the worlds of business, politics and the media will address attendees at the 2010 ACG Los Angeles Business Conference, to be held September 21 and 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The conference focuses on corporate finance and M&A activity for middle-market companies. More than 1,300 corporate executives and professionals are expected to attend, along with 120 private equity and financing sources exhibiting in a Capital Connection event.

The speakers will include:

Mitt Romney, former CEO of Bain & Company, former Governor of Massachusetts and a candidate for the Republican nomination for the 2008 presidential election. He is the author of "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," and is regarded as a leading candidate to lead the Republican ticket in 2012.

Michael Milken, chairman of the Milken Institute and the financier widely regarded as the creator of the high-yield bond market. For more than 25 years he has funded research on prostate cancer, epilepsy, education and global economics. He was named "One of the 75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century" by Esquire Magazine, and "The Man Who Changed Medicine" by Fortune magazine.

Sen. Tom Daschle, who represented South Dakota from 1986 until 2004, and for several years headed the Democratic caucus in the Senate as majority or minority leader. After leaving the senate he lobbied for healthcare companies and supported the Obama health plan.

Sen. Bill Frist, a heart surgeon before entering politics, who has performed more than 150 heart transplants. He was elected from Tennessee in 1994, easily won reelection, and served as Republican Majority Leader from 2003 until he retired in 2007, fulfilling his pledge to serve only two terms. He is a major shareholder of Hospital Corporation of America, founded by members of his family.

Richard Ziman, founder, Arden Realty, Inc., which owned and operated 20 million square feet of commercial and industrial real estate and was valued at $5 billion when it was acquired by GE Commercial Finance in 2006. He is chairman of American Value Partners, a real estate private equity fund.

Andrew Ross Sorkin, the award-winning New York Times M&A reporter and editor of the paper's Dealbook online report. He is the author of "Too Big To Fail: How Wall Street and Washington Fought To Save the Financial System - and Themselves."

The Conference will host the nation's premier "Capital Connection," which is expected to include 120 private equity investors, lenders and other financing sources which cumulatively have billions available for business growth.
