Worldwide Emergency Care Professionals Invited to Speak at UK's AMBEX 2007

AMBEX 2007: The Major International Conference and Exhibition for Pre-Hospital Emergency Care - Harrogate, UK, June 2007

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 10, 2007) - Emergency care professionals worldwide are being invited to visit and / or speak at AMBEX 2007, the largest pre-hospital (emergency) care event outside the USA, to be held in Harrogate, Yorkshire, UK, 27-29 June 2007.

Organised by the London-based Ambulance Service Association (ASA) - the main body representing the National Health Service (NHS) ambulance services across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus the public ambulance services of Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar - this international event should not be missed by those wishing to see and hear the latest, cutting-edge developments in UK pre-hospital and emergency care.

This year's theme, Delivering Change: Improving Care will examine how UK ambulance services are increasingly delivering care to patients in innovative ways, often within patients' own homes. It will be an ideal opportunity to compare the UK experiences to those lessons learned in other countries worldwide.

The ASA is now calling for presentation proposals and poster displays from emergency care professionals outside the UK. These ideas could form the basis of a presentation to all delegates, a workshop with specific specialists or a poster display within the exhibition arena. Details of how to submit a presentation proposal can be found at www.asa.uk.net or queries can be submitted by email to: adrienne.long@asa.uk.net. All presentation proposals must be received by Friday 23rd February 2007.

Visitors from overseas are being encouraged to attend AMBEX 2007 and a special overseas delegate rate has been agreed of GBP475.00 plus UK VAT (reclaimable) which includes all conference sessions and materials, refreshments/lunches, and all social functions. For further information on the conference visit www.asa.uk.net or email lotte.large@asa.uk.net for a booking form.
