XL Generation Partners with United Nation Observer Mission, to be Main Sponsor of U.N. Sports for Peace Program

MONTREAL, CANADA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 11, 2005) - XL Generation International Inc. (OTCBB:XLGI). On July 28th, 2005 in Milan Italy, Mr. Alain Lemieux President and CEO of XL Generation International signed a partnership agreement as main sponsor for the Sports for Peace Program with the Observer Mission of the United Nations Organization for the use of Spirulina against Malnutrition (CISRI-ISP). Spirulina is a micro-algae used to combat Malnutrition Worldwide particularly in emergency relief efforts. It is rich in nutrients, vitamins and is a complete form of edible substance.

At this occasion, Mr. Lemieux was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Observer Mission to the United Nations in New-York, USA &, Vice Secretary-General by H.E. Dr. Alessandro Manini, Secretary-General of CISRI-ISP based in Rome, Italy.

This United Nations Permanent Observer Mission of the CISRI-ISP Organization, to achieve its humanitarian goals, has created a program named Sports for Peace in support of the U.N. MDG's 2000-2015. At the Millennium Assembly in September 2000, world leaders adopted the U.N. Millennium Development Goals 2000-2015. These goals, eight (8) in all, are an ambitious agenda for reducing poverty and improving the quality of life in emerging countries.

The Sports for Peace Program is setup to complement the U.N. MDG's with its mission to develop education through sport among the most underprivileged and to promote peace in the World. Along with other U.N. initiatives it will use sport as a way to promote sustainable development, education, health, and peace.

XL Generation was invited to participate in this ambitious humanitarian Sports for Peace Program, by giving to kids in need from around the world the chance to use their XL Turf surfaces. These surfaces were chosen by the Sports for Peace Program because of their highly superior characteristics such as being eco-friendly and recyclable, safer and more comfortable for players, and also for their mobility.

Sports for Peace has an ambitious program of fundraising events. Supported by XL Generation, along with many large corporate sponsors and famous names from the sport and entertainment industry, these events will raise substantial funds for the program as well as serve to raise the profiles of many sponsors' corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.

These funds along with donations and grant aid will enable the establishment of Sports for Peace centers using XL Generation sports surfaces in areas of need around the world. This will lead to greatly increased visibility and exposure for XL Generation and its brands, as well as the subsequent boost in business through the increased demand for its products worldwide.

The first ten (10) Sports for Peace centers using XL Turf surfaces purchased by the Program (Sports for Peace) have already been planned. These first centers will be opened in the next six (6) months - the centers are based in Switzerland, France, U.K., Canada, USA, Brazil, Ghana, Senegal, Somalia and Korea.

In 2006 the plan is to extend the program to the supporting countries of CISRI including Benin, Burundi, Congo Democratic Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Madagascar, Sao Tome Principle, Gambia, Cameroon and other African states, as well as expand the program into China and then the rest of Asia, the Indian sub continent and the Middle and Near East.

The Sports for Peace Program is a Subsidiary Commission of the CISRI-ISP Organization. As constitutionally mandated, all Sports for Peace activities will benefit selected U.N. entities, agencies, organizations and programs concerned in the support of the U.N. Millennium development goals.
