Xcellink Announces Issue of Patents for a Revolutionary Payment System in Australia and New Zealand

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - October 29, 2009) - Xcellink International Inc. (OTCBB: XCEL), a developer of a patented mobile payments & banking platforms, today confirmed issuance of patents in Australia (number 731121) and New Zealand (number 334917) titled 'Automated Electronic Funds Transfer System and Method,' which cover the automated data interchange to achieve transactions between customers (buyers) and merchants (sellers) over local wired or wireless links.

This provides Xcellink International Inc. with uniform patent protection across the whole of Australasia, facilitating a regional opportunity allowing providers of payments services who wish to automate consumer-based management systems with the use of a local link (such as Bluetooth, Infrared, Wi-Fi, WiMax and NFC (Near Field Communication)) with a single license arrangement for the Xcellink method. The unrestricted business opportunities that this may facilitate has the potential to provide excellent returns for Xcellink shareholders, and provides payment service providers with a exciting opportunity to be part of the emerging consumer-centric approach to 21st Century E-Commerce.

With Xcellink's technology, merchants, banks, financial institutions, mobile carriers and utility providers will be able to address the key issues of security and inter-operability with existing systems and meet consumer demands for control & security, operational simplicity, lower transaction costs and location independent access.

The technology can work over a range of wide area networks including the telephone, internet or wireless data -- in fact, the technology can operate in any network that can support secure messaging using 'Information Appliances' such as mobile phones, wireless PDAs, Internet access points or other communications devices.

"With mobile coverage to 98% of Australia's 21 million people," commented a Company spokesman, "and a history of very early introduction of new technology, we are confident our technologies will be well received there. And with the mobile phone being a fashion statement with an average life of only 1 to 2 years, this is an exceptional opportunity to build Xcellink capability into mobile communications."
