Yellow Pages Group Named One of Canada's Top 100 Employers for the Second Consecutive Year

Company also secures a place among Montreal's top employers

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2007) - Yellow Pages Group (YPG)(TSX:YLO.UN), Canada's largest telephone directories publisher, has once again been recognized as one of the country's Top 100 employers for 2008 in a list published in Maclean's magazine. The Canada's Top 100 Employers' ranking, now in its eight year, reveals companies and organizations that are leading the way in attracting and retaining employees. This is the second time that YPG has made the list.

This year, YPG was recognized among more than 1,500 companies for its leadership in several areas, notably work environment, employee benefits as well as training and skills development. Among others, the employee benefits' plan includes three weeks of paid vacation offered as of the first year on the job, on a pro rata basis, and parental leave top-up payments. The Company also offers flexible work schedules. In addition, employees have access to a training and skills development program for which tuition fees for courses taken at outside institutions are subsidized. They can also take advantage of over 600 online courses at any time of the day.
