Yorbeau Encounters 74.67 g/t Au Over 10.35 Metres (2.18 Oz/Ton Over 34.1 Feet) in New Zone at Cinderella Target, Including Grade of 5,750 g/t Over 0.13 Metres (167.73 Oz/Ton Over 0.43 Feet)

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 23, 2009) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. ("Yorbeau"') (TSX:YRB) is pleased to report exciting results while drilling at the Cinderella zone of the Rouyn property.

Drill hole 09-CI-519 has indeed intersected two mineralized zones of interest respectively in the Piche Formation and in a new zone situated in the metasediments below the Piche Formation. (See the accompanying photo here: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/YorbeauPhoto1.pdf) Highlights of weighted averages and assays from Hole 519 are shown in the table below:

The true width can be approximated as about 60% of core length based on the dip of the Piche formation but could be somewhat different because of structural complexity (folding and shearing) in the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break.

Drill hole 09-CI-520, drilled about 200 metres downdip of Hole 519 intersected gold bearing quartz veins at shallow depth in the Blake River volcanics and weak mineralization in the Piche Group. However, due to technical problems, Hole 520 had to be stopped short of the new gold zone in the metasediments. Weighted averages and assays from Hole 520 are shown in the table below:

The accompanying long section (available at: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/YorbeauCarte1.pdf) shows that hole 519 is between two areas that have yielded high grade intercepts in earlier drilling programs. During 2006, Yorbeau cut 43.5 g/t Au over 4.95 m core length in 06-S-413 (see press release of November 8, 2006) and during 2008 two holes also encountered high grades. Hole 08-CI-464 cut 16.58 g/t Au over 3.0 m core length and hole 08-CI-467 cut 41.6 g/t Au over 2.5 m core length (see press releases of September 25, 2008 and January 20, 2009). Holes 413 and 464 are over 600 m apart, which leaves significant exploration potential in this area, and to depth.

Drilling is currently underway at the Lake Gamble zone of the Rouyn property where several holes encountered high grades of gold during 2008 (see press release of March 11, 2009). Drilling at the Cinderella zone will resume when the current drilling program at Lake Gamble is completed.

Samples are analyzed by ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec. All samples are first analysed by fire assay with an assay charge of 50 grams. Samples returning more than 3 g/t are redone by fire assay followed by gravimetric method. Samples returning more than 6 g/t and those with visible gold have their rejects analysed by metallic sieve method. Yorbeau has implemented a QA/QC program that consists of insertion of blanks and gold standards in batch samples being sent to the assaying laboratory. Selected pulp samples will also be re-analysed by a different laboratory.

The qualified persons under National Instrument 43-101 are Thomas L. Robyn Ph.D., CPG, RPG, and Laurent Halle, P.Geo., who have reviewed and approved the content of this release.
