Yorkdale Shopping Centre Invites Shoppers Undeniably Yorkdale to Become the Face of Spring 2010 Ad Campaign

Yorkdale is Me contest offers the ultimate VIP shopping and celebrity experience

For anyone who has vogued, posed, primped or worked it for the camera - now is your chance to do it for thousands to see. Yorkdale Shopping Centre - the destination for luxury fashion and style - is looking for shoppers that are undeniably Yorkdale to be featured in the Yorkdale is Me spring 2010 ad campaign. The Yorkdale is Me contest, which runs until October 9, 2009, seeks to uncover 10 brilliant, stylish, fabulous and unforgettable individuals to become the faces of Yorkdale.

"We are always looking for ways to enhance the best-in-class shopping experience at Yorkdale," said Robin Keeler, Yorkdale's Fashion Director. "Engaging our shoppers in the Yorkdale is Me contest is a way for us to really celebrate their diversity and embrace what Yorkdale is all about - style and individuality."

The Yorkdale is Me contest can be found at www.yorkdaleisme.com. To enter, applicants must upload their photo and answer why they are undeniably Yorkdale and why they love Yorkdale. Applicants can apply as an individual or along with a friend, sibling, mother, grandmother, etc - the choice is up to them.

Fifty finalists will be selected to attend an in-mall casting photo shoot, from which nine winners will be chosen by a panel of celebrity judges including Melissa Grelo, Co-host, CP24 Breakfast; Lisa Tant, Editor, Flare; Amy Verner, Style Reporter, the Globe and Mail; Chris Nicholls, fashion photographer; Diti Katona, Creative Director, Concrete Design Communications and Robin Keeler, Yorkdale's Fashion Director. Fashion hounds and Yorkdale fans will also be able to participate in the judging through an online people's choice vote to cast the tenth face for Yorkdale is Me.

Each of the 10 winners will take part in a fashion photo shoot with celebrity photographer Chris Nicholls for the spring 2010 Yorkdale is Me ad campaign. Winners will also receive a $1,000 Yorkdale gift certificate, a two-hour wardrobe consultation with a member of the Yorkdale Dream Team, a Toronto Fashion Week sponsor prize package and VIP access to the spring 2010 collections during Toronto Fashion Week. In addition, the people's choice winner will have exclusive use of a reserved parking spot for one year at Yorkdale and the other nine finalists will receive free valet parking for one year.
