Young Adults Gather for a Different Reason this New Year. Heavy Rain Conference, FREE New Years Event.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 22, 2009) - Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship is hosting a free event, "Heavy Rain," from Dec. 29, 2009 to Jan. 1, 2010.

This annual conference is a gathering of young adults from all over Canada and the U.S. to celebrate the New Year. The theme for Heavy Rain 2009 is Intimacy and Authority, with a focus on mobilizing young people in their faith and purpose.

"God is using young adults far more now than any other time in history," said Steve Long, senior pastor of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. "Finishing one year and looking ahead is a significant time to be inspired by other leaders."

Kris Vallotton is the founder and overseer of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California. Kris is an internationally recognized prophetic voice, and accomplished author. He will be giving away free copies of his book, "Sexual Revolution" (Destiny Image Publishers, Inc. ISBN 978-0768431407) at Heavy Rain.

Patricia Bootsma of Stratford, Ontario travels locally and abroad inspiring hearts to know the Father's love, awaken with passion for Jesus and walk intimately with the Holy Spirit.
