ZAPiT Games Brings Brain-Bending Sudoku to Families In Latest Title for Game Wave™ System

World-popular solitary number puzzle game goes interactive with three versions of play and more than one million puzzles for up to six players.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2007) - ZAPiT Games announces the availability of its brain-bending Sudoku title for the Game Wave system. The new game turns the world-popular solitary numbers game on its head enabling up to six family members or friends to play simultaneously.

Whether playing solo in a race against the clock or going head-to-head against other players, the Game Wave transforms Sudoku into a fast-moving interactive play experience.

Developed in Toronto by ZAPiT Games, the Game Wave system is a proprietary DVD-based console that connects to a TV. Players use specially designed wireless remote units. System titles feature a library of family-friendly titles with themes including word, puzzle, number and trivia games. All titles, including Sudoku, use non-violent, family friendly content and images.

Game Wave Sudoku offers three versions of play: Emperor is classic Sudoku that can be played alone or as a team effort. Sho-gun is the ultimate group challenge, pitting player against player. Finally, Ninja is multi-player Sudoku with a twist assigning players numbers that they must race to place on the grid.

"The new multi-player Game Wave Sudoku game is unlike any other Sudoku game we have seen. The games are easy to play, competitive and create an extraordinary evening together with your family," says industry insider Andrew S. Bub from gamerdad.com. "Yet what we loved most about it is that it turns your TV into a brain exercising machine."

Game Wave Sudoku is now available for purchase from ZAPiT Games online and from select retailers for $24.99 U.S. For more information or to purchase, visit http://playgamewave.com.
