ZEEP Forms Partnership With Exploration Technologies for Carbon Dioxide Sequestration, Monitoring and Consulting

HOUSTON, TEXAS--(Marketwire - Oct. 28, 2009) - ZEEP (Zero Emission Energy Plants Ltd.) is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with Exploration Technologies, Inc. (ETI) to jointly work on sighting and strategy for CO2 sequestration in areas where CO2 pipelines for Enhanced Oil Recovery and/or Enhanced Coal Bed Methane are not readily available.

"Addressing the CO2 sequestration issue is a key part of ZEEP's strategy…" said Bruce Bernard, President and CEO of ZEEP. "We are pleased to partner with ETI as they bring extensive global experience in the research, development, execution and interpretation of various geochemical techniques useful in environmental studies as we carefully prepare to deploy gasification projects in environmentally responsible ways."

As ZEEP develops gasification projects utilizing the Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne gasification technology, ZEEP and ETI will form strategies and execution plans to deal with CO2 sequestration and will approach these challenges using proven techniques, scientific methods and a track record of successful experience.

"One of the key issues that is often overlooked in geosequestration projects is the need for early monitoring to establish a base line before any project is executed. We are pleased to team with ZEEP as they site and develop gasification projects around the world," said Victor T. Jones, III, Ph.D., Principle Scientist and Founder of ETI.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement, ETI will provide consulting, project support and strategy development in ZEEP's focus areas of China, Australia, Canada and the United States.
