CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Jan 5, 2012) - After a considerable amount of customer demand, Zacuto is happy to announce that all Zacuto DSLR camera stabilization kits are now sold with black iris rods. Zacuto DSLR Kits include the Target Shooter, Striker, Single Action, Peacemaker, Fast Draw, Stinger, Double Barrel, Z-Cage, Zwiss Cage and Cross Fire.
"We had so many requests for black rods that we decided to incorporate them into our DSLR kits as well," says Zacuto Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mandy Rogers. "They really give a nice stealthy look to the kits and blend in much better. We have also made the black iris rods available for individual purchase in all sizes so if someone wants to build their own kit using black rods, they can do that. We like to give our customers options."
Zacuto offers an extensive array of 15mm iris rods and extension rods that are perfect for any camera rig. Iris rods are an absolutely essential part of any successful camera stabilization kit and of course Zacuto iris rods are no exception. All Zacuto iris rods are made of 6061 aluminum, measure in at 15mm in diameter (industry standard) and 1/2" 13 threaded on each end. The rod lengths range from 12 inches to 1 inch.
Zacuto rods are also extendable so users can quickly reconfigure their rig if they need to add or take away rod length when switching out lenses of different sizes. Without Iris rods, users typically are unable to mount accessories like a follow focus or matte box to their camera.
Of course, like all Zacuto products, Zacuto 15mm iris rods come with a lifetime warranty.
