Zincore Signs Agreement to Add Canadian Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2010) - Zincore Metals Inc. (TSX:ZNC) ("Zincore" or the "Company") announced today that it has entered into an option agreement with Midland Exploration Inc. ("Midland") to earn a 50% interest in Midland's Gatineau Zinc Project.

Jorge Benavides, Zincore's President and CEO, stated, "We are keen to work with Midland on this project as the area has not had the exploration work we feel it deserves. This is despite the fact that this property is known to host several significant zinc occurrences and it shares many similarities with the prolific Balmat-Edwards District, located only 60 kilometres to the south."

Under the terms of the agreement, which is subject to the approval of the TSX, Zincore can acquire 50% of Midland's interest within a four-year period by fulfilling the following conditions: Making cash payments (or, at its discretion, Zincore shares of equivalent value) to Midland of $180,000, and incurring exploration expenditures of $3,500,000 ($500,000 during the first year being a firm commitment by Zincore). Upon acquiring a 50% interest, Zincore will have the option to acquire an additional 15% interest by delivering a bankable feasibility study within eight years of the Effective Date of the agreement.

The Gatineau Zinc Project is comprised of 266 claims totaling 160 square kilometres in the Gatineau area, 200 kilometres northwest of the city of Montreal, Quebec. Access to the Gatineau Zinc Project is via a large network of paved and gravel roads. A major railway line passes south of the property, connecting a series of north-south railway lines and joining directly with the Canadian Electrolytic Zinc Refinery in Valleyfield, near Montreal.
