Zoosk Hosts Speed Dating for Promising Start-Ups and Prominent VCs

Social Dating Company Helps Start-Ups Find VC 'Love' at Web 2.0

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2010) - Zoosk, the world's first social dating network with more than 50 million users, today announced they will be hosting the first VC & start-up speed dating session at Web 2.0 Expo on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in San Francisco.

At this year's Web 2.0 Expo, Zoosk is helping to connect start-ups with the investment community. Zoosk's VC and start-up speed dating session provides a fun and unique forum for enthusiastic start-ups to pitch their ideas one-on-one with a VC. Each start-up will get the chance to 'flirt' with up to four VCs during the matchmaking program and will be given three minutes of undivided attention each. To qualify, the company must be a start-up or entrepreneur looking for seed or additional funding.
