Zulily Hires New VP of Marketing to Help Grow Private-Sale Shopping Site for Children's Boutique Brands

David Atchison Joins Experienced Senior Team of Retail and E-Commerce Veterans From Blue Nile, Nordstrom, and Eddie Bauer

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - March 25, 2010) -  Zulily (, the company that is changing the children's retail market with invitation-only access to the most unique and sought-after children's boutique brands, today announced the appointment of industry veteran, David Atchison as VP of Marketing. Atchison will be responsible for helping the company continue and expand its aggressive growth through email, affiliate/partner marketing, SEM, SEO, viral marketing, and social networking.

Atchison joins Zulily from online retailer Red Envelope where he served as head of marketing and analytics and helped drive huge year over year growth in a down economy. He is a highly accomplished, profit-driven executive with a distinguished career directing multi-channel marketing programs and has demonstrated expertise in e-commerce optimization through best in breed analytical practices across multiple departments and functions. Before Red Envelope, Atchison was the director of analytics for ProFlowers, one of the leading e-commerce companies in the United States with one of the highest converting sites across all industries. Prior to that, Atchison was with several start-ups and strategic consulting firm The Parthenon Group.
