Zuora Announces Opening of European Office to Meet Growing Worldwide Demand

Momentum Continues for Leading Subscription Billing Company

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - August 27, 2010) -  Zuora, the subscription billing leader, today announced their plan to open a new office in London to support its growing customer base throughout Europe. The office will be the base for European Operations as well as the ten new staff Zuora plans to hire for the region this year. With operations in the U.S., Asia and Europe, Zuora is now open for business around the globe, 24 hours a day.

This global expansion is the latest in a series of moves from Zuora that solidify its leadership position, including:

  • the signing of more than $1 Billion in contracted subscription revenue. This is of particular note in light of Gartner's estimate that SaaS billing industry-wide would reach $7.5 billion in 2009, demonstrating Zuora's commanding share of this booming market.
  • an ever-growing list of successful customer deployments delivered in record time. Most recently, Zuora announced it completed its implementation of Open Range's complex new telecom billing platform in under 100 days. Zuora integrated with seven different systems to provide Open Range the flexibility to easily change pricing across customer communities in 17 states.
  • a burgeoning partner ecosystem for delivering best-of-breed solutions to customers. Zuora recently announced preferred partnership status with NetSuite, whereby the companies will jointly develop and offer combined solutions to price, meter and bill for subscription- and usage-based products.
