Zuora Names NetSuite Engineering Head as Vice President Products and Engineering, Former Ariba Executive as Chief Marketing Officer

Luke Braud and Andrew Harman Bring Expertise in SaaS Financial and Commerce Applications


REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - August 27, 2010) -  Zuora, the subscription billing leader, today announced two new members of its executive management team. Cloud computing expert Luke Braud has joined as Vice President Products and Engineering and commerce software marketing veteran Andrew Harman has joined as Chief Marketing Officer.

Braud and Harman are the latest additions to Zuora's executive team, which now includes some of the best management talent from the SaaS & enterprise software worlds. In May, Zuora named former IBM and Interwoven executive Steven Martello as VP of Services. Earlier, Zuora hired Elizabeth Tse, former VP of Global Billing, Payments & Collections at eBay, as VP of Customer Operations. Additionally, Shawn Price, former CEO of Savvion and EVP at Vitria, was named Zuora's President.

The two new appointments are key elements of Zuora's aggressive efforts to deliver on the growing opportunities of the Subscription Economy.

Luke Braud, VP Products and Engineering
Prior to joining Zuora, Braud was Senior Vice President of Products and Engineering for NetSuite, the SaaS leader in financial applications, where he drove product strategy and delivery and reported directly to NetSuite's founder, Evan Goldberg. 

Braud's experience is focused on defining and building the most advanced integrated business applications available on the web. Braud holds multiple U.S. patents in SaaS delivery and has helped push the limits of browser technology using AJAX. He serves as an evangelist for excellence in user experience and quality across the product platform. Braud holds a B.S. in Computer Science (Mathematics) from Santa Clara University.

Andrew Harman, Chief Marketing Officer
Harman has 20 years of enterprise software marketing experience coupled with experience as an angel investor and advisor to several high growth technology firms. Harman had served as the Vice President of Marketing for TradingDynamics, which was acquired by Ariba, a leader in commerce solutions. After joining Ariba, Harman served as Vice President Product Management and Vice President of Corporate Strategy. Harman holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from INSEAD.

As CMO, Harman will be responsible for Zuora's global marketing strategy, encompassing solutions, customer and field marketing as well as branding and communications. He will also lead the company's strategic alliances and corporate development activities and will report to Zuora President Shawn Price.
