Retail, Investment and Acquisition Experts Peter Lynch and Andrew Margolick Join A&G Realty as Partners, Adding L.A. and Chicago Offices

MELVILLE, NY--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2012) - Commercial real estate consulting, advisory and investment group A&G Realty Partners announced today that noted industry leaders Peter Lynch and Andrew Margolick have joined the firm as partners, bringing to A&G coast-to-coast geographic penetration as well as further deep industry experience in dealmaking, real estate dispositions, lease renegotiations and strategic planning. Both Peter Lynch and Andrew Margolick come to A&G from positions of leadership in the field -- Peter as a Principal and Senior Managing Director at DJM Realty, and Andrew as President of his own firm, ARM Consulting, and as a Vice President at Hilco Real Estate.

Peter Lynch comes with over 30 years of retail operating experience, and has been the client manager for numerous high profile companies, including Pier 1, Borders, Discovery Channel Stores, Restoration Hardware, and Pacific Sunwear. Other projects led by Peter included Design Within Reach and MANN Theatres, which was a Viacom and Warner Bros. company. Peter's retail experience and subsequent move to real estate at DJM have allowed him to be a top advisor to the "C" suite and Boards of Directors, guiding them through real estate strategies such as store openings and closings. Prior to his tenure as Principal and Senior Managing Director at DJM Realty, Peter was President, COO and CFO for numerous specialty retail, big box, outlet and department stores in both publicly traded and venture capital based companies that include Babystyle, Warner Bros. Studio Stores, Baby Guess Kids, STØR (a division of IKEA) and Emporium Capwell Department Stores. Peter has been a member of the prestigious Young Presidents Organization since 1994, World Presidents Organization since 2002 and Chief Executives Organization since 2004. Andrew has had a successful career in disposing and restructuring over 2,000 leases nationwide for both healthy and distressed companies and has saved his clients over $200 million in leasehold obligations. Prior to joining A&G, he was a Vice President at Hilco Real Estate and President of ARM Consulting. Andrew is recognized as one of the leading dealmakers in the country, and has represented such companies as A&P, Zales, WorldCom, Bally, The Pantry, Oakley, Panda Express, Mikasa, J. Jill, Select Comfort, Papyrus, and Anchor Blue. At The Margolick Financial Group, Andrew was instrumental in the acquisition of 15 million square feet of enclosed regional mall space, and raised $400 million of Investment Equity and $1.5 billion of debt.
