A Joint German Exhibition Stand at the Modern Bakery Moscow 2014

Already for the eighth time, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, on request of the Association of German Machinery and Plant Manufacturers (VDMA) is supporting German companies which would like to gain foothold in the Russian bakery and confectionery market. The joint German exhibition stand at the Modern Bakery Moscow offers very good conditions for this. "The turnover for bakery and confectionery goods in Russia increased by 15.1% to eleven billion Euros in 2012. "German companies will benefit from it immensely and secure new market perspectives in Russia" says Bernd D. Fichtner, manager of the organiser of the Modern Bakery Moscow 2014 trade fair.

German technology is very popular in Russia
Most of the baking machines in Russia are no longer cutting edge technology and need modernisation. To be able to cover the needs of the Russian population and the demand of new products and trends in the future, the Russian baking industry mainly requires also the German know-how and technology. The Russian government recognises the need for action and would like to invest several billion Euros by 2020 in the improvement and renovation of the Russian baking and confectionery sector. "German know-how and German technology are very popular in Russia and have an excellent reputation", said Fichtner.
