A Significant Sandstone Boulder Returns Uranium Assays on HOTISH

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 18, 2007) - A large sandstone boulder discovered by DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) this summer on its wholly owned HOTISH property just returned a value of 0.203% U3O8 from assaying at the Saskatchewan Research Council. This sedimentary rock boulder is an altered, argillaceous and oxydized sandstone mineralized with a yellow mineral, probably uranophane. This is identical to what is observed in the different known uranium-bearing zones in the Otish Mtns. This significant size boulder reaching almost two meters in diameter suggests a short glacial transportation by its size, rock type and form, and the up-ice area is held by DIOS. A field prospecting crew has been sent out late last week on the property to check out the area as well as another area where a fuchsite bearing quartzite (suggestive of uranium potential) was discovered by DIOS' geologists while looking for kimberlites. The HOTISH property covers the western shallow unconformity contact between the Otish Proterozoic age Sedimentary Basin and an Archean basement, a geological context worldwide known for its uranium potential. It also covers the northeastern end of the Papasquasati Basin, also a continental environment at this end, a very prospective area for uranium. The western part of the Otish Mtns is also known for its very low thorium content, another advantage of the area. A major helicopterborne radiometric survey (100 m spacing) for a total of 7,500 line-kilometers was completed this summer over the whole HOTISH property as well as an extensive helicopterborne lake bottom sediment sampling survey totalling 800 lake bottom sediment samples to target down areas for further detailed exploration. Complete results are expected in the very short term.
