    *   Data  from  a further 17 holes at A238 uranium anomaly reveals mineralisation in line with initial  results

International uranium company Forte Energy NL (ASX/AIM: FTE; "Forte Energy" or "the Company") announces the second group
of  assay results from its A238 uranium anomaly in the north of the Company's leases in Mauritania, in addition,  to  an
exploration update on the Rare Earth Element (REE) assay results announced on its Firawa project, Guinea.

The  Company  is pleased to release drilling results from a further 17 holes from the recently completed  7000m  Reverse
Circulation (RC), 120 hole, drilling programme on its leases in northern Mauritania.

As with the first set of assay drill results, announced on 23 December 2010, most of the RC holes included in this group
of  assays were focussed on shallow definition of the northern strike extensions with only one hole (238RC75)  being  in
the main high grade zone.

Two  further groups of samples are at the laboratory now with results expected in the near future. To date, results from
27 holes out of 120 drilled have been processed and subsequently announced.

Sufficient  drilling, assay and radiometric data are now available to begin more detailed geological  interpretation  of
the  geology of the A238 anomaly.  Data from all holes have been compiled into a central database (including  holes  for
which assays have yet to be received) with section presentations available for download from the Company's website.

A  more  detailed  study  of the origins of this high grade core will be undertaken as part of  the  resource  modelling
process  once all assays are received. Preliminary indications reveal the presence of a plunging shoot at A238, regional
work  is now focussing on looking for repetitions of similar structural settings along the +300km of strike length  that
the Company has under lease.

Forte Energy Managing Director Mark Reilly commented, "Initial interpretation has confirmed previous views that A238  is
comprised  of a thick, high grade core within a long, low grade mineralised structure.  To date, data from 27 holes  has
been  received from a total of 120 drilled and we look forward to the results from the first group of drill  holes  from
the  main  high  grade  zone of A238, which are currently being processed at the laboratory. Diamond  drilling  on  A238
continues and remains on track to be completed early in Q1."

Republic of Guinea

The  Company  also  announces  a correction to the Rare Earth Element (REE) assay results  previously  announced  on  21
December 2010.  The previous results were not an accurate representation of the true REE content of these samples  as  a
result of two factors:

1.      In  the  previous  assay  results, the concentrations of two elements, Cerium (Ce) and  Praseodymium  (Pr)  were
        beyond the detection limits of the assay technique used - a maximum of 10,000ppm for Ce and 1,000ppm for Pr.  The
        samples were therefore re-assayed with different measurement tolerances in order to quantify the concentrations of these
        two elements.  The final assay results were up to 40% higher than the previous detection limit for Ce and up to 72%
        higher than the limit for Pr.
            
2.      In  the  announcement dated 21 December 2010, the Company had erroneously stated assay figures for Niobium  (Nb)
        rather than Neodymium (Nd) in the REE suite.  Nd assay results are much higher than the concentrations of Nb.
            
The combination of these two corrections has significantly increased the total REE concentration for 4 of the 5 samples.
