ABB Opens Fourth Global Wind Power Generator Factory in India, an Industrial Info News Alert

BANGALORE, INDIA--(Marketwire - August 25, 2010) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Global power and automation technology company ABB Limited (NYSE:ABB) (Zurich, Switzerland) has opened a manufacturing facility for wind power generators at Vadodara in Gujarat, India. The factory, covering about 16,000 square meters, will produce up to 100 generator units each month and provide employment for about 150 people. The generator units will have ratings of up to 2.5 megawatts each and are aimed at both the Indian and global markets.
