LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - October 04, 2016) - Abbyson Living is proud to welcome former Cheers Man Wah VP Beth Dixon to its staff, taking on the newly created Vice President of Sales position. Dixon will be responsible for expanding Abbyson's current Container Direct Program, which will bring product innovation at competitive prices to key retailers. The sales expansion includes motion and stationary upholstery in fabric and leather, as well as case goods and home accents.

Dixon has been in the furniture industry for 20 years, in positions ranging from retail buyer to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to Cheers Man Wah, she spent six years with American Home Furniture and nine years as an independent sales representative.

In addition Abbyson has made several other recent hires. Scott Ellyn, former executive of Lenovo where he managed accounts like Costco and Amazon, is the new VP of Sales for eCommerce. Iman Shahrokh has rejoined Abbyson's staff as Retail Sales Manager and Mehdi Gold has been promoted internally to Director of Key Accounts, dedicated to strengthening current key partnerships and facilitating sales growth.
Earlier this month, Abbyson Living announced the company's return to the High Point Market. Abbyson will occupy a 22,000 square-foot showroom on the 11th Floor (Commerce Wing, C1156) of the IHFC building for the fall event, running from October 22-26, 2016. In addition to 300 new product designs, 8 full-home collections, 13 product categories and a full range of home furnishings resources, Abbyson is launching a series of new digital selling programs and services for designers and retailers.
