ABERTIS INFRAESTRUCTURAS: BREAK UP OF SCHEMAVENTOTTO COMPLETE

BARCELONA, SPAIN--(Marketwire - June 25, 2008) - Having met all the formalities necessary for its exit from Schemaventotto (S28), the core shareholder in Atlantia, abertis now holds a direct 6.68% stake in Atlantia.

Barcelona, 25 June 2008.- Today abertis formalised its exit from Schemaventotto (S28), the leading shareholder in Italian concessionaire Atlantia, following completion of the spin-off process initiated by its shareholders last January.

Now that the process is complete, abertis holds, through its subsidiary abertis italia, a direct financial stake in Atlantia of 6.68%, equivalent to a total of 38,190,332 shares.

Since 2000 abertis held its stake in Atlantia (formerly Autostrade) through Schemaventotto, which controlled 50.01% of Atlantia and in which abertis held a 13.33% interest.

As a result of the process, Salvador Alemany and Josep Martínez-Vila, directors respectively of Atlantia S.p.A. and Autostrade per l'Italia, representing Schemaventotto, will both resign their directorships.
