SANTA MONICA, CA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2009) - Excitement is building for the upcoming Abilities Expo Midwest that will bring the disability marketplace together for three days to see new products, network within the community, learn about advances in technology and provide education courses. The Expo and Conference will be held Thursday, June 25 through Saturday, June 27 at the Schaumburg Convention Center.

"We recently held the Abilities Expo in Metro New York and Southern California and over 5,000 health care and special needs professionals, caregivers and people with disabilities gathered at each event to gain knowledge and improve their lives," said David Korse, President and CEO and new owner of Abilities Expo.

The Abilities Expo Event team put together a stellar line-up of informational, educational and interactive events, exhibits and sessions.

--  Special Events --  Three full days of action packed demonstrations and
    interactive workshops.   Attendees can visit the Special Events Area to
    learn Yoga from Motivational Speaker Matthew Sanford, how to play
    wheelchair softball, table tennis, golf, volleyball, track & field and
    boccia.  Chloe Magazine will host the Dare to Change the World Fashion

--  Exhibits -- In the exhibit hall there will be thousands of products
    and services from exercise, recreational, sports equipment and services;
    personal care products; wheelchairs/walkers; financial planning advisors;
    accessible home modification; automobiles and conversion vans; scooters and
    so much more.
--  Conference Sessions -- Healthcare professionals will be able to earn
    CEUs and certificates of participation through compelling educational
    seminars on such topics as intensive physical therapy, disability culture
    and the workplace, neurotechnology, spinal cord injury, multiple
    oppressions, funding challenges, age related health issues, and more.  Free
    workshops will be held on Friday and Saturday and will address
    transportation solutions, the accessible livable home, new horizons for
    assistance dogs, travel made easy, making the computer easier to use and
