Acadia et Fils Debut, New Bordeaux Negociant; Created by Jackson Wine Estates International

SAINT-EMILION, France--(CCNMatthews - Aug 5, 2005) -

A new Bordeaux negociant, Acadia et Fils (Acadia), was recently created to provide discernible wines of unique quality and distinction from many wine regions. Initially concentrating on the Bordeaux market, Acadia will source high quality, family owned properties from some of the finest vineyards and Chateaux in the world.

Acadia is wholly owned by Jackson Wine Estates International. The company was developed under the strategic direction of prominent Saint-Emilion broker and native Thierry Castells with the assistance of U.S.-based Bordeaux expert Frank Seidl. Their combined 40 years of experience and additional team members will provide the platform for developing a differentiating Negociant in a time that the industry is ready for change.

The selling of Futures will commence with the 2004 vintage.

Chateau Ausone, Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot, Chateau Leoville-Poyferre, Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron, Chateau Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, Chateau Nairac, Chateau Palmer, Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Chateau Haut-Batailley, Chateau Phelan-Segur, Alter Ego de Palmer, Chateau d'Angludet, Chateau Poujeaux, Chateau Smith-Haut-Lafitte, Domaine de Chevalier, Chateau La Clotte, Chateau Moulin Saint-Georges, Chateau Dassault, Chateau Grand-Pontet, La Gomerie, Lassegue, Chapelle d'Ausone, Chateau Vignot, Gracia, Les Angelots de Gracia, Chateau Bon Pasteur, Chateau La Fleur de Bouard, Chateau Petit-Village, Chateau Leoville-Poyferre, Chateau de L'Abbaye de Saint-Ferme, Chateau de Launay, Chateau La Baronne and Domaine Ligneres.

Initially, these wines will be available through Acadia's strategic alliances in the United States (Arizona, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Texas and Washington), Japan and Canada.
