Addition of Patrick Conte Supports Worldwide Sales of Secure, Mobile Solutions That Enhance Business Productivity

In this role he will lead the strategic direction and activities of the global sales force, as Accellion expands its worldwide presence.

With more than 25 years of success in launching and growing new technologies, Conte has consistently demonstrated strong go-to-market execution by leading field teams and maximizing relationships with channel resellers and strategic partners. Prior to joining Accellion, he served as EVP & GM at Scale Computing, the maker of industry leading hyperconverged systems, and as SVP & GM of field operations at Azul Systems, a developer of optimized Java platforms for large enterprises. Earlier in his career, Conte was the VP of sales and marketing at Cobalt Networks, and a key member of the executive team that led Cobalt's IPO in 1999. Additionally, Conte ran field operations for Topspin Communications, a leader in high performance computing, which was acquired by Cisco in 2005. He earned a BS in Political Science and History from James Madison University, and an MS in International Relations from Northern Illinois University.
