AccelRate Announces Board Committee Appointment

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 13, 2007) - The Board of Directors of AccelRate Power Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:APS)(FRANKFURT:KCG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Senator Edward Lawson, a former member of the Canadian Senate for over thirty years, to the Company's Audit Committee, effective immediately. In conjunction with this appointment, the Company has granted him stock options to purchase up to an aggregate of 50,000 common shares in the capital stock of AccelRate at an exercise price of $0.22 per share, expiring April 12, 2012.
