AccelRate Appoints Additional Distributor on US East Coast

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 6, 2007) - AccelRate Power Systems (TSX VENTURE:APS)(FRANKFURT:KCG), the technology leader in fast charging, and the sole manufacturer of "High-Speed" battery chargers for the motive power industry, announced today the further expansion of its North American dealer network with the appointment of another quality full service stocking distributor, Liftech Equipment Companies, Inc.

Liftech Equipment Companies, Inc. began operating as an independent corporation, Liftech Handling, Inc., in September of 1988, after operating as a profitable division of the Syracuse Supply Company since 1964. Liftech is a people-oriented company with about 170 employees serving New York, Vermont, Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

Liftech is and has been the dominant force in the lift truck industry in New York State for the past two decades. Representing a worldwide leader, Hyster Company, has allowed Liftech to be the primary supplier for the most recognizable, demanding industries in New York State.
