Accomplished Media Executives Rick Hack and Linda Benjamin Join Truli Media Group

Rick Hack has a 14-year extensive history in the entertainment and digital media space. He was Head of Content Strategy for Michael Bay's transmedia and commercial production company -- The Institute. During his tenure, Rick represented 17 directors including Bay for commercial production and multi-platform media projects. Prior to The Institute, he headed up entertainment for the CBS Altitude Group, where he spearheaded relationships with CBS radio programming in tandem with film studios and television networks during his six plus years of service. Most notably, Rick organized and co-produced CBS' "LIVE from the Web Carpet" video web series. This program provides in-depth coverage of movie and television premieres, such as the release of "Transformers" as well as "The Bourne Ultimatum." In addition, Rick produced one of the first promotional marketing efforts to be filmed on Alcatraz Island in junction with a major motion picture release -- The Condemned from Lions Gate Films.

Linda Benjamin has spent the last six years as Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs of Relativity Media as it grew into a mini-major studio known for its industry-leading innovation. Linda oversaw financing transactions varying from equity deals, international co-productions, and tax-advantaged structures, as well as international distribution business affairs, music, digital content production and distribution, and international joint ventures, film and television output partnerships. Prior to her tenure with Relativity, Linda was head of business affairs and interim chief operating officer for Intermedia Film, managing partner in the entertainment law firm Garvin, Davis, et al, and an associate at O'Melveny & Myers in their corporate finance group. Linda graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School where she was Associate Editor of the Minnesota Law Review, and received her bachelor's degree in Music Composition, Journalism, and Marketing (also from the University of Minnesota).
