ACE Security Laminates Corporation Engages New Auditor: Wasserman Ramsay Firm Replaces Demers Beaulne

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 14, 2005) - ACE Security Laminates Corporation (ACE), (TSX VENTURE:ASL) a leading provider of security laminates, is pleased to announce the appointment of Wasserman Ramsay, Chartered Accountants, as the company's successor auditor, acting on the recommendation of its Audit Committee. The appointment is effective November 8, 2005. In accordance with National Instrument 54-102, ACE has provided a Notice of Change of Auditor to both its former and successor auditors and has received the required response letter from Wasserman Ramsay, the successor auditor, confirming their agreement with the information provided in the Notice.

ACE's Audit Committee has decided that it would be preferable to have a Toronto based Auditor for the Corporation. As such, Demers Beaulne has notified ACE that they will withdraw from seeking to become ACE's auditors. It should be noted that Demers Beaulne did not finalize the documentation necessary to become ACE's auditors of record.

"We are pleased to have finally put this issue behind us, and we can now focus on further strengthening the financial framework at ACE." said ACE's CEO, Peter Fabian.

"I look forward to working closely with the professionals at Wasserman Ramsay to restore full confidence in the financial and reporting systems at ACE, said ACE's CFO, S. Brian Lukian.

Wasserman Ramsay is a firm located in Toronto, with a wide range of public company experience and over 15 years of public accounting as an auditing firm.

Trading in the company's stock was halted by the TSX Venture Exchange on September 2, 2005 pending clarification of the company's affairs.

ACE/Security Laminates™ Corporation specializes in manufacturing and distributing, through a worldwide network of dealers, safety and security window laminating technology. Since 1999, ACE has established a presence in 40 countries. ACE produces a micro thin polyester laminate that, when applied to glass, protects against baseball bats, crowbars, rocks, fire, Molotov cocktails, bombs, bullets and natural disasters.

The advantages of ACE's products are found in their protective capabilities, transparent finish, and simple application to existing windows. What makes ACE's security laminates the obvious choice when protecting people and property is the extensive third party testing they have undergone against threat levels ranging from break and entry to bullets and bombs; demonstrating the product's high-end performance.
