Virginia Company Introduces Its Patented Service to Optimize Employer-Job Candidate Connections

DULLES, VA--(Marketwire - Oct 8, 2012) - Acertiv (https://www.acertiv.com/), an online recruiting service that helps companies quickly and cost-effectively find qualified candidates and helps job applicants stand out from the crowd to get hired faster, today announced it has launched its service at the 15th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition in Chicago.

Many existing screening tools rely on keywords found in résumés. However, it is estimated that 70 percent of résumés contain mischaracterizations, if not outright lies, and candidates are adept at peppering them with key words. Acertiv's differentiator is that it enables candidates to certify at the résumé bullet point level that their skills and accomplishments are in fact true and then ties those to the hiring firm's job requirements.

Acertiv is free for job candidates who can continue to access and re-use their certified career data throughout the course of their careers. And for less than the cost of paying an outside recruiter to deliver a single candidate, organizations can purchase an annual Acertiv seat license subscription so a recruiter can screen for all of his or her job postings.
