ACG Toronto: Defining the Future of Canadian Manufacturing

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 28, 2006) - The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Toronto Chapter presents "Focus on Canadian Manufacturing", April 11th 2006, Royal York Hotel, 5:30 p.m.

This showcase event will provide top decision makers, industry experts and professionals involved in defining the future of Canadian manufacturing with a forum to network and exchange ideas surrounding one of Canada's most important economic sectors.

The evening's keynote speaker will be Byron Nelson, founder and president of Leland Industries Inc., a Canadian producer of metal clamps and fasteners. Mr. Nelson will share his valuable insight and experience in challenging offshore manufacturers in an international dumping and trade dispute.

Mr. Nelson's struggle to prove his case and his ultimate success at the Canadian International Trade Tribunal has helped ensure a viable and competitive future for an important sector of the Canadian manufacturing industry...a true David and Goliath Story.
