ACH Foam Technologies Expands R-Control(R) SIPs Manufacturing to Nevada

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - July 13, 2010) -  ACH Foam Technologies announced the expansion of its R-Control® SIPs (structural insulated panels) manufacturing operation into its McCarran, Nevada facility to better serve western US customers, specifically those in Nevada and Northern California. In February of this year SIPs were tested and approved by NTA Inc., a third party laboratory, for use in seismic construction, making SIPS even more appealing to customers in the western US and seismic areas.

"We are excited about offering faster, more cost-effective shipping to our customers in the western US. Our McCarran plant is our most state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, ready to accommodate ACH Foam's R-Control® SIPs operation. With the recent approval of R-Control® SIPs for seismic zones D, E & F, ACH Foam Technologies is poised to deliver the best possible customer service to the western seismic region," said Frank Kiesecker, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

R-Control® SIPs offer notable environmental and cost benefits. They are 50 to 70% more energy-efficient than conventional stick framing with fiberglass insulation.

R-Control® SIPs save 30 to 40% in labor costs. Waste at the jobsite is significantly reduced because SIPs are custom manufactured to meet specific project needs.

R-Control® SIPs are specified for use in LEED certified projects. For complete technical data call 800.525.8697.
