MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Sep 3, 2014) - Aconex, provider of the #1 cloud solution to manage the world's largest construction and engineering projects, has appointed Henry Jones as senior vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Global Accounts. With 20 years of career experience in general management, sales, marketing, and business development, Jones will be responsible for the EMEA region and account relationships with the world's leading owners and contractors. He will report to Leigh Jasper, Aconex CEO.
"Henry Jones will add breadth and depth to our senior management team as we continue to build the global market footprint of Aconex," said Jasper. Jones joins Aconex from Axiom Global, an alternative legal services provider, where he was senior vice president and global head of Tech and Tech Services and served as a member of the company's planning committee. Previously, he was senior vice president of Axiom's West Region, where he led a turnaround situation which more than doubled regional sales.
Prior to Axiom, Jones was vice president of the West Region at Satmetrix Systems, a provider of cloud-based enterprise feedback reporting solutions. At Satmetrix, he helped develop the Net Promoter Score methodology for measuring and improving customer loyalty. Jones holds an M.B.A. degree from Imperial College Business School in London and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Edinburgh University.
"I'm excited by the opportunity for Aconex to help transform construction and engineering through the application of key technologies," said Jones. "The cloud, project-wide collaboration, mobile, and BIM are improving project efficiency and quality across multiple sectors.
