SAN BRUNO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 19, 2014) - Aconex, provider of the world's most widely used construction project management software, today announced the appointment of Andrew Savitz as chief marketing officer. Savitz is responsible for the company's global marketing strategy and operations, including product marketing, demand generation, online marketing, and communications. He reports to Aconex CEO Leigh Jasper.
Savitz brings to Aconex more than 20 years of management experience with enterprise software and cloud solutions. Most recently, he was vice president of worldwide marketing at KXEN, a provider of predictive analytics software and cloud-based applications for big data which was acquired by SAP. Before KXEN, Savitz was at salesforce.com, where he led marketing efforts for the Service Cloud, the company's customer service and support solution and its second-largest and fastest growing product.

Prior to salesforce.com, Savitz worked at leading enterprise software vendors such as PeopleSoft, webMethods and Edge Dynamics. He was also an equity research analyst focused on customer relationship management (CRM) software companies at Goldman Sachs and Robertson Stephens. He began his career as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he was a key contributor to Siebel Systems' first CRM implementation and helped launched its CRM solutions practice.
