Acordia, Inc. Names Grant Sloniger Managing Director

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 14, 2005 -- Acordia, Inc., a Wells Fargo Company, announces the appointment of Grant Sloniger to the position of Managing Director. In his new role, Sloniger will assume responsibility for Acordia's Central Illinois offices in its Midwest region.

Sloniger has more than 13 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry. Before joining Acordia, he served as the Agency Manager at Dimond Bros. Insurance Agency in Champaign, Ill. Prior to that, he was the Marketing and Field Underwriter for United Heartland Insurance of Illinois, formerly Third Coast Insurance.

Sloniger attended the University of Illinois and has his CIC designation. He is a member of the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce and the Urbana Business Association.
