Act-On Software Continues to Disrupt the Market With Accelerated Growth in Q3 2012

Marketing Automation Leader Achieves 11 Consecutive Quarters of Growth and Adds 280 New Customers

BEAVERTON, OR--(Marketwire - Oct 18, 2012) - Act-On Software, a leading provider of cloud-based integrated marketing automation software, today announced record results for Q3 2012. During the third quarter, Act-On's revenues were over 289 percent of revenues during the same period last year, making it the 11th consecutive quarter of sequential growth. Act-On's growth is substantial, having increased its employee base by over 188 percent over the same period last year and having added 280 new customers in Q3 alone. In September, Act-On raised $16M in Series D funding to fuel its rapid penetration in the market.

Customer Momentum

Act-On acquired 280 new customers in Q3 2012, bringing the total number of customers to over 1,100. Act-On's customers represent a variety of vertical segments beyond the traditional early adopters in high technology and include manufacturing, healthcare and business services.

Partner Momentum

In August, Act-On launched the Act-On Partner Exchange (APEX) program to enable technology, agency and referral partners access to the Act-On ecosystem. The partner program offers a simple and effective way for customers who need specialized products and expertise, and partners who provide such services, to easily find each other. The new offering provides an exciting new resource for the 1,100-and-counting Act-On customers from diverse vertical markets looking for new products and services to enhance their online marketing. In just two months, the APEX program has gained traction, having grown to over 80 partners.

Act-On had a striking presence at the Dreamforce conference in September, making an impression on the attendees with its competitive marketing tactics, and informative booth where it showcased advanced marketing automation capabilities with deep integration with Salesforce.com for small and midsized companies.

Expansion of the Team

Act-On grew its employee base by over 188 percent over the same period last year in all major functional areas and now employs over 125 people.
