Action Products International Inc. Enters Into Letter of Intent With Local Printing Associates

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Sep 7, 2011) - Action Products International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: APII) today announced it that has entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire Local Printing Associates and Company LLC. Following the acquisition, the two companies plan to jointly utilize the extensive 8,000 domain portfolio and the CRM portal to expand their reach into the SMB market and continue to monetize these domain assets through leasing, advertising, and direct sales of product. These domain assets alone, based on Google AdWords™ research, would appear within the first page on 60 million local search results per month, with an estimated cost per click value total of $28 million, at no cost to the company when properly built-out.

Local Printing Associates has spent the past few years building and acquiring an Internet domain portfolio centered on keywords central to the printing and business card industries. These keywords, which include the words 'printer,' 'printing,' 'printers' and 'business cards,' build geographic regions of relevancy in search results for these terms. Internet search providers rank search results partially based upon the names of domains themselves especially when paired with relevant local content, unique information and proper linking strategies. Domains that directly match the search terms will perform better for customer trust and will help with conversion rates from visitors to buyers. The Internet is going from Global to Local Search relevancy, and the companies that are able to capitalize on the local search market will benefit the most.

One domain asset term 'Business cards' is the ultimate entry to the Small and mid-sized business market. Because all new businesses purchase business cards as one of their very first purchases, cost effective customer acquisitions and the ability to mine that data lend itself to endless cross-selling opportunities in the business card and printing vertical. For example, entering the search term 'Miami Business Cards' into Google search, will result in a top result for our domain, a profit making 1/8000th of the website portfolio.

Gary Polistena, the company's CEO, commented: "We consider Local Printing Associates to be an excellent addition to our organization. We're creating a company built upon Internet and cloud technologies that assist organizations in become greener, reducing cost, reducing complexity, and we're also working to more effectively deliver tools and training these companies need. I believe that Local Printing Associates delivers services that add value to small businesses, possesses experienced management team and it continues to add value for our shareholders by bringing additional revenue and assets into the company."
