Actors, Models and Talent for Christ Rock on Nickelodeon This Fall

Two AMTC Grads Are Set to Star on New Nick Shows This Fall: Industry Newcomer, Ricardo Hurtado, and Child-Veteran, Madisyn Shipman; Both Began With Actors, Models and Talent for Christ, a Non-Profit Ministry Committed to Making Good Bolder in Entertainment

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - September 09, 2015) - Madisyn Shipman came to AMTC at the age of 5. Since then, she’s worked on Broadway, TV and film, including Violet on The Peanuts Movie, to be released this fall. Madisyn will also be starring on Game Shakers, a Nickelodeon sitcom slated to premiere September 12 with Kel Mitchel. She plays Kenzie, a middle school kid, who (with friends) creates a video game as a science project. It becomes the most popular game of the year.

Ricardo Hurtado, AMTC SHINE ’14 grad, is a 15-year old heartthrob. On his first post-SHINE audition, he was cast as Freddie, a risk-taking, prep-school student in School of Rock, Nickelodeon’s spin-off the popular feature film starring Jack Black. This triple-threat talent recently moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles for the show.

Shipman and Hurtado are part of a team of stars to complete AMTC. Other grads include Evan Peters (X-Men and American Horror Story), Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Megan Fox (Transformers/cover girl) and Steven Boss, SYTYCD star now deejaying on The Ellen Show.

AMTC, formerly a mainstream talent development company, is now a Christian non-profit ministry. It trains and launches God’s performers into entertainment: the most influential platform in the world today. For more information on Actors, Models and Talent for Christ, visit
