SACRAMENTO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 9, 2014) - The statewide Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) on June 10 will release a new report detailing specific impacts of the drought around the state and outlining a series of recommendations for creating a more resilient water system in California.

ACWA's report comes as water managers around the state cope with one of the driest years on record. Developed by a statewide Drought Action Group formed in January, the report identifies drought impacts across a range of sectors and provides examples of specific near-term projects and actions that can help shore up water supply reliability locally and regionally.
